Personal high on tia.
I have not received my Advanced Mathologist degree so I don't know if I will do this right, but you're going to be looking at 60MAB vs 30 elemental attack. Using Fiendishone's gearset he has 19 MAB, 20 from SJ, and since I'm too lazy to figure out probabilities for Wizard's roll I'll cheat and use CDF's work and get an average 8.85 MAB. 2.5785 / 1.9785 = 1.3033x increase.
Elemental attack is added to elemental affinity from staves, going from 1.45 (HQ staff and 1st major atma) to 1.75 is only 1.207x increase, its probably only worth it to change to the fire atmas on Firesday to get day bonus and avoid penalty on ice.
Also, this is assuming that all Major elements are +30, I don't have either fire one so I can't verify it.
I was under the impression that elemental attack was multiplied with staff bonus, so 1.3 * 1.15 as opposed to adding them to be 1.45. And for double fire atmas, I got 1.6 * 1.15 as opposed to adding them to be 1.75. I went out and double checked this to make sure.
Regardless, MAB + beyond is better if you're doing ice quick draw + leaden salute, and 2x fire + MAB will be better for fire quick draw + wildfire.
I just checked the other day to see how it worked, after getting karkadan's atma I put it on with lion and ultimate to see some wtfawesome damage but was disappointed. So I went and tested it out and while from a thunder 3 with no atma or staff to one with both jumps to 1.6x, the damage from a no atma/indra +2 to lion/indra +2 is only 1.23x. Ill post the exact values when I ger home I'm on my phone atm.
OK numbers:
Thunder III, lightsday/darksday, all on the same DC lizard in Abyss Konschtat.
Lion / no staff - 1056
Lion + Indra+2 - 1305
no atma/ no staff - 813
Indra+2 - 1061
Going from no atma or staff, 813, to having both equipped is 1.6. However, going from Indra to Indra/atma is 1305 / 1061 = 1.230, not 1.3 if they were applied separately.
I got completely opposite results. Baying moon was used to offset MAB from atma of Beyond, because I started to doubt any of the numbers and wanted to check whether Beyond and Baying Moon were the same 30 MAB.
For base quickdraw values with staff and no staff
417 dmg with Baying Moon, no staff
478 dmg with Baying Moon + HQ Staff
For verification that Baying Moon and Beyond gave the same MAB, and verification that Lone Wolf, Smoldering Sky, and Beyond gave the same elemental dmg+ bonus
621 dmg with Baying Moon + Smoldering Sky + HQ Fire staff
621 dmg with Beyond + Lone Wolf + HQ fire staff
621 dmg with Beyond + HQ Ice staff
766 dmg with Baying Moon + Smoldering Sky + Lone Wolf + HQ fire staff
417 * 1.15 = 479 (478 actual)
417 * 1.45 = 605 (621 actual)
417 * 1.15 * 1.3 = 623 (621 actual)
417 * 1.75 = 729 (766 actual)
417 * 1.15 * 1.6 = 767 (766 actual)
Hmm, I'll try again in a bit with Thunder staff and Jupiter and see if it changes anything. Could be either that Magian staves somehow are calculated differently than HQ, or QD is different than magic.
I just realized that the staffs might be calculated differently and I'm in the middle of checking that. Unfortunately I'm going to be using 2 different EP lizards, but they're probably the same level and if they're not, the numbers shouldn't vary enough to matter. I doubt that QD is somehow multiplied different than elemental magic.
-edit-
974 No Staff + Baying Moon
988 No staff + 5 extra int to offset aquilo's + Baying moon
1137 HQ staff + Baying Moon
1264 Magian + Baying
1264 No staff + Beyond
1477 HQ staff + Beyond
1557 Magian staff + Beyond
988 * 1.15 * 1.3 = 1477
974 * 1.6 = 1558
Magian Staff damage affinity is added to elemental atmas
HQ staffs are multipled with elemental atmas.
-edit2- I failed to notice a couple numbers didn't match. I went back and redid some bliz3s to check my numbers and found I wrote the staff + beyond damage wrong.
This one actually surprised me yesterday, first time running around with AoA after getting it saturday, because I wasn't really trying on the lolAF3 +1 NM: no food or stalwart and /nin to get hints/proc it.
Don't know if it's awesome, but it has potential to do more lol.

Decided to brew a Kutharei as I was bored and wanted my boomerang. First Wildfire took it down to around 27%. Wasn't paying attention enough to care.
Done on rng, using only ultimate and lone wolf as the DD atmas for wildfire. Lack smoldering sky, and didn't want to change to cor. Given this, I probably should have changed to cor. Would've been closer to a one shot. Not impressive, but eh, I felt semi good about it.
With smoldering sky and being on cor though, using ascetic's with an 11 wizard's roll? Probably enough to one shot the bugger.
When I get crour again, maybe I'll try to two shot Rani for kicks once I finish the corsair build, lol.
Ls mate just did a 10,384 Ukko Fury to IronClad Smiter in altep was pretty funny to see let me get SS out~
