So the new cd came out for download today. (Physical release is June 1st afaik) I've been trying to find a download everywhere, no luck yet. (I'm gonna end up buying the cd later, probably at the next concert I go to. Not paying twice. D:<)
But you can pretty much listen to all the tracks here: http://store.ffdistantworlds.com/
Oh, and for people local for the DC concert-to-be:
West Falls Church Metro usually has a shuttle bus (Rt 480) that only runs when there's a show at Wolf Trap. So if you don't want to deal with the parking, take the subway there.
can we do a BG meet up there, i am 99% positive none of my RL friends will want to go to this
For those of you doing the DC area, you may be interested to know that you can save a chunk of money with their multipacks; there are a bunch of shows going on around the date of the FF show that may interest you depending on your tastes (Rodgers and Hammerstein, Romeo & Juliet, The Music of James Bond, Bugs Bunny At the Symphony, a few others I don't remember), and you get a pretty decent discount if you buy 3 or more of them at once.

Bought my tickets for Ravinia at Chicago, let's do this
Box seats at wolftrap significantly better than loge or rear orchestra? Trying to justify the price lol, I'm just afraid loge might be too far away to see much.
Went to Baltimore last year, have tickets for Wolf Trap this year. Going with a friend and we're driving down to King's Dominion for Saturday before heading home. :D
It's not, I was quite happy with the loge seats at Play!, you're up at enough of an angle that you can appreciably see the entire orchestra and everything that's going on and it's not like you need binoculars to see or anything, the actual inner stadium area isn't all that big.
On the other hand, the acoustics in the orchestra area are excellent. I had seats in the back center of the indoor section, and could hear everything very well. For an indoor/outdoor area though, Wolf Trap is very nice. The walls project the music easily outwards into the lawn area.
Wish they'd start bringing this stuff to more of Europe
Question: Would the people going to Wolf Trap like to meet up for Dinner on Friday night or do King's Dominion Saturday?
Thinking of making this a Mini-BG meetup and what not.,
