If you're serious then you're looking in the wrong places for women. If you aren't serious then you got me good. But seriously, there are a lot of educated women out there that waited on getting married because they wanted to get their life established first. I was talking to this guy I know who's in his mid-30's (financially he's more than rather well off), and he informed me that the men to women ratio at his age/"class" is very skewed in his favor.

Then I'm at the opposite end of the skewed ratio, because where I am, I would guess over 95% of the women in our graduate/phd/post-doc "Scene" got married as under-grads or are in serious relationships, cause I don't even know a single woman in my academic circle.

Which means it's rare for me to meet a single girl over like 23, which leads to it's own set of problems.

So I think online seems to be the way to go for now. I know this friend who knows several younger girls, aside from having a bit of a fling/fun with them they're too "young" mentally to develop anything serious, and will probably weigh me down more (cash/time wise).

I just went to my best friends wedding here while on leave and jesus Im like the last single guy out of my old group of friends. Work is no help as most navy women are...well not on par i should say? well that falls under that whole married/tied down and/or has kids. Besides, no offense but if they have kids that old, like good amount of people i know do, i wouldn't want that baggage anyway. Now I'm not saying if I met someone with a kid I'd be totally against it, but you just have to have your shit together. Which most of my FB friends sadly don't. But yea, its pretty amazing at how many have kids.

I registered for plentyoffish.com after finding out my 3 female roommates (who I met off of craigslist) said they've been doing it for a while.

The only reason I registered is cause they kept asking when I was gonna make a profile, so I made one to hit on them. Other than that it's not been very successful for meeting people. Granted I don't really try, but I went through a long slump (2+ years) w/o really dating anyone so I lost my game.

I did have a crazy stalker bitch at one point though - I learned to NEVER give out any kind of phone number or email that I consider my "main" - create an email separately for this purpose that you check yourself - that way - if you need to GTFO and cut ties with a particularly crazy bitch, you can do it fairly easily.

Well, I guess this further proves the area I live in is worthless lol.

So I signed up on OkCupid the other day and I did a bunch of questions and such, then started looking around. Everyone within a 50 mile radius is either fat, ugly, old, or has kids; there were 10 people who were 90% in my range. Two were good looking w/ decent personalities, and one was simply stunning in all aspects, so I messaged her but havent heard back yet. I'm not too excitied about the other two as the first, but oh well.

If those three dont pan out, the closest attractive higher percenters are 100+ miles away, lawl~
