The girl that topic is about is someone I met from OKcupid. And I'm on the phone with another one right now as we speak.

To be honest, I'm not really actively searching for women on the site. I made the profile, but then just mainly started taking a bunch of quizzes and trying to figure out their matching algorithms. At the moment I have no car and I'm moving out of town soon for a few months so there's no point in trying to date anyone.

The only reason I ended up talking to women from there is because they messaged me first and they were hot so I wasn't going to say no (I showed Archie their profiles, he can attest to their hotness).

And yeah, there's lots of matches in northeast OH. Lots in Pennsylvania too. But within the churches around here, women literally outnumber men about 9:1, so it wouldn't bother me at all if OKcupid couldn't find me any matches.

It's like that in Cleveland too (based on the few Cleveland churches I've visited). Way more women than men. College campus seems to have a favorable women to men ratio too, though I've never looked up the demographics. Maybe men just don't hang around as often. If it does have a favorable ratio, it's not as extreme as church.

Edit: Women/men is almost 1 to 1 on campus (1.118 to be exact). I seem to see women much more often for some reason, but like I said, maybe they just hang around outside more often.

i used to live about 30 min north of cincy in butler county. never had a problem finding good looking girls that were not total bitches up there. but down in ky where i live now all i find are shallow bitches or women with kids looking for a meal ticket

I just started using OkCupid like 3 days ago and so far I have found like 1 girl who apparently wants to bang me that lives like down the street, and then 1 girl who is actually interesting that lives kinda farther away. This kind of site is weird for me because I am not used to people openly flirting/hitting on me. So I signed up on OkCupid the other day and I did a bunch of questions and such, then started looking around. Everyone within a 50 mile radius is either fat, ugly, old, or has kids; there were 10 people who were 90% in my range. Two were good looking w/ decent personalities, and one was simply stunning in all aspects, so I messaged her but havent heard back yet. I'm not too excitied about the other two as the first, but oh well.

If those three dont pan out, the closest attractive higher percenters are 100+ miles away, lawl~

There are a lot of cool seeming people but not many I would even consider dating. I am not desperate enough to just hit up any random chick, especially if they are fat or ugly. I can't deal with fat chicks, they just bug me.

Just a quick thing about looks, it's weird but if you invest a bit of time in them they seem to look better after a while.

Not done anything yet as said earlier but am happy to hear some of you are trying and reporting in. Although I can't really be picky but the stigma of "fat, ugly, old, or has kids" as Seph pointed, seems to be really true. I guess it's a matter of being patient and waiting for someone somewhat decent to come by. I get the feeling all the ones considered "hot" are being spammed to hell already. Slightly worrying, but it's still early for you guys. I'd think give it a month to 3 months before moving sites, etc.

Really though, that site has provided me with some fantastic chicks with high % results and already got a couple girls sending me unsolicited messages, which was pretty cool considering I signed up last night super stoned at like 3am. Not sure wtf I want, but this site has some real potential.
