Celeras, your list is already wrong. Soap is running at 4GHz
Instead of using what's in the screenshot (which is what windows reports.. and is known to be wrong when OCing), it'd be best if people posted their CPUs actual speed.

All I get is a black screen during the test. More money I have to spend T_T
Yeah right after I hit "Start" I get "Windows has encountered an error". The DX .dll file mentioned is there and I updated my drivers for my 5870m a week ago.
just fixed my original reply with my specs

I'm using 10.4 catalyst drivers because they are slightly faster for some games unlike 10.5
I ran FFXIV on high loop a few times, doesn't seem to go any higher then my previous score pic (would of cropped but lazy atm!)
ffxiv after like 3 "loop" runs on high

How can you affect the load times, and what does it even mean in the end?
I'm not sure, I use:How can you affect the load times, and what does it even mean in the end?
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
RAM: 3x2 DDR3 1333
CPU: Intel i7 930 @ 2.80 Ghz
GPU: GTX 470
And I got score 5215, load time 10902 on low resolution and score 3210, load time 10846 on high resolution. Not the best score, but the best load times so far, looks like it has something to do with GPU, imho (or amount of cores in CPU or hardrive (as Gulkeeva said)).
P.S. Can't post a picture unfortunatly.
get a faster hardrive/defrag what you have
I think I ran ffxiv benchmark on my 5600 rpm drive... going to move it to a 7200 rpm NCQ driver later to see if it gets lower.
probably means in the end.. how fast you load characters/models as they get near you and loading of various area's
I'm in alpha and alpha boots up fine, however this benchmark crashes on me and isn't the DX crash.
I see the Square enix logo, then I see a screen that says Final Fantasy XIV Official Benchmark, The Way nvidia It's meant to be played TM
and on that screen it tells me
Final Fantasy (R) XIV OFFICIAL BENCHMARK has stopped responding.
A problem caused this program to stop responding as it should. The program will be closed, and you'll get a message if a solution is avaible (translating from norweagian here, so may sound a bit weird)
I've attempted to put the DX file in the folder just incase, no change, and i' updated to latest nvidia drivers just incase, still no change.

ATI Cards - http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
Update your drivers and it will work fine.
Why is there always such a massive difference between Radeon and Nvidia? It was like this for FFXI... The scores are almost double in most cases posted here (between modern Radeon and Nvidia cards).
I have a GTX295 and my High score was 2500, Low was 4000. And then I see people with Radeon who are up to a score of 7000 :\
My computer is fairly new, I bought it only half a year ago. It's kind of a bummer to see it being so massively outperformed by others here.
I was having the same problem. Not sure if this will help, but I went Documents \ FFXIVBenchmark \ FFXIVBenchmark \ data \ FFXivWinBenchmark and opened that file rather than FFXIVBenchmark. I would always crash as soon as I hit start using FFXIVBenchmark.
Using FFXIVWinBenchmark will cause the benchmark to start immediately in low setting, after it finishes it will go back to the options menu and you can choose high or low settings and start again.
Sorry not the best explanation, but hope it helps....
