This looks so terrible... Should have stuck with the original design

They showed a finger and blocked the game for EU/NA players since people were hammering their servers too much
I cant even get my game to launch. When I launch RO2 the bar fills 2/3rds the way then just stops.
any idea?
EDIT: and are you playing in the US? I read some US people were still able to play
Make sure you install in this order
Full instal -> manual patch -> patch fix -> let the game do the rest till playable
and I'm on the "international" server at the moment, there "was" only 2 servers last I was on (6 hour maintenance)
atm downloading a massive patch going slowly ...!
'Other' Full install client link appears to be broke, can I just install the main client from any language?
I played for a 1-2 days of the open beta they had last week. It was an okay game. It didnt have the same feel that RO1 had but still the game wasnt to bad. The servers were pretty smooth for the most part by the time i started player the starting areas werent to crowded. I played a mage and the casts were going off when they were supposed to casting was working fine same with the party system. I will be giving it a go when the servers come live on May 1st at 3 PM pst.
There's a 30FPS cap on this shit? Fuck this game lol
apparently turning off the sunlight option will fix the 30fps cap. (not 100% sure though i dont run fraps but this is what ive read on the main forums)
Didn't work for me. Turned all settings down to the lowest and still 30fps cap.
Heh.. this is on Steam now.. might as well check it out?
Looks like the worst video game ever created.
Is the music any good, at least? I never got into the original RO but I still love the soundtrack.
Eh, I have no intentions to play it, but I wanted to know if the soundtrack was worth bothering with. :b
I don't think I've ever tried to play such shit. I can barely get the launcher to respond rofl.
Alrighty, after an hour of the run around and making 2 accounts, I got in long enough to know I wanted to uninstall it.
What in the fuck were they thinking? >_>
There must be something wrong with me, but I am really enjoying RO2. I never played the original so I don't have any attachment to the franchise, but the game reminds me of how I felt when I first started FFXI all those years ago, an alien world to explore with something interesting and new around every corner. On the other hand, after a few hours I uninstalled Neverwinter, between the graphics and the same old same old, it did not hold my interest for long.
I don't know how long I will be playing RO2, but for now its a lot of fun, simple, but exciting, having fun doing dungeons and leveling. Have not had any login or launcher issues, but I did not use the Steam version.
