    Spoiler: show
I actually quiet took to Moriarity's voice, it threw me at first, but somehow it fits, like it's a childish game between the two. When he's threatening Sherlock, just before he leaves, he does a fantastic job with that "i'll burn you" thing, the look on his face is just frightening.

This show is awesome! I've read every Sherlock story by Doyle and fell in love with the character. The sexual aspects of Holmes disturbs me a bit, since there was a negative amount in the stories, but whatever, this is seriously the best Sherlock stuff that I've ever watched. I hope it keeps going!!

    Enjoyed it, etc.

Mildly related, but if I were to start downloading Dr. Who, where should I start? Wiki says it's been on since like 1963...

best bet is to start with the new stuff from 05 I think, it's more accessible and whatnot, then if you like that you can look into the old stuff. If you have netflix I know they have a bunch of random older episodes you can try out and see if you like it.

2005 should cover anything you need to know really. They don't really reference the old episodes that much and it's not really a key plot when they do. If you do like it though, the old episodes are just as good for most of the older Doctors (usually the ones that they have the DVDs for are good).

The older episodes also have the added bonus of terrible 60s, 70s, or 80s CGI.

Crime drama Sherlock is to get a second series, the BBC has confirmed as part of a raft of new commissions.

Its three-part first series, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in a contemporary take on the classic detective, attracted around nine million viewers.

Creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat have promised "baffling new puzzles, old friends and new enemies" in three new episodes due in autumn 2011.
shame that it's a year away

Just got around to watching this series and wow was it good! Watson was an amazing character/actor and Sherlock was decent as well. I liked the more serious tone and the atmosphere in this series compared to other BBC stuff I have seen such as Doctor Who/Torchwood (although both of those are also fantastic in their own ways) The way they handled the text stuff on the screen was so much better than the normal TV way of zooming in on a phone or computer screen, and the lack of CSI bullshit getting in the way of good old fashion detective work was an amazing relief.

Was waiting for this, was very good.

I'd like to agree, that this Moriarty is fantastic. He fits a modern day Moriarty perfectly.

Also loved the first episode just aired.
