Dear god that episode was a rollercoaster. Magnussen storyline didn't pan out like I had expected. BUT HOLY FUCK THAT ENDING WHYYYYY. Next season in 2 years? Too long!!!!
Well it was still Magnussen watching him in that ep. But good lucky guess...maybe. We haven't seen real proof yet.
Anyone notice the odd thing at the end of the credits?
Mycroft mentions it in passing during the episode, Sherlock and him have another brother?
Very curious about that as well. "You know what happened to the other one." Sounds like it was unpleasant.
Edit: Maybe next season we'll get answers on how Sherlock got off the roof, since that entire scenario seems rather more significant now. Though I don't necessarily think he's actually back. It's got to be someone using him to get attention.
couple neat things I had no idea about:
Martin Freeman and the actress playing Mary are together and have kids.
Sherlock's parents are actually Benedict's parents.
Yup, I guess it saves them having to look for a cast when they can just use relatives lol.
Makes the acting just that more delicious. Benedict's mum was hot too back in the day... his interview on topgear showed us a black and white pic of her posing next to some good car.
Could be Sebastian Moran using Moriarty's face for attention.
Edit: There's a third brother in the books, his name is Sherrinford. I think he watches over the family land or something. I can only remember him being referenced once or twice. I had to google him to remember his name lol.
Sebastian makes more sense to me since he was connected to Moriarty but he just wanted to assassinate Sherlock. They could drag it out for two episodes with Sherlock slowly trying to figure out if Moriarty is still alive and in the 3rd episode you find out it is Sebastian and
(Spoilered because it's in the short story)
Spoiler: show
The belief lives on!
I gotta say, I predicted absolutely nothing in this entire episode. Shit kept me entertained the whole way. Mary especially was like, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...o/DAAAAYUM.gif
Also, Watson's daughter is almost undoubtedly going to be called Shirley.
I think Moran is mentioned twice in this season as well, so we at least know he's out and about. I think he's one of Sherlock's "rats" in The Empty Hearse, and the news mentions he's been charged with Fraud or something in His Last Vow.
Hopefully this isn't another two year wait.
No, Moran is the guy that tries to bomb the Palace.
