    WS: Iga Ningi +2, Atheling Mantle, Cuch/Anguinus/augmented Warwolf Belt. Shura Kabuto +1 (augmented)/Aias Bonnet, Centaurus Earring, Iga Tekko +2 may be better depending on dDEX and hitrate.

    Re: Colenzo: Not sure which job you're talking about but neglecting potential gains in self-SC damage 6-hit was usually a hair ahead of 5-hit for most jobs/setups when using relatively low delay weapons (Ukon, Masa, non-528 scythe, 492 polearm) at 90 and 6-hits also generally have more flexibility for when acc is relevant. If pDIF is overcapped it's a different story because shit like Tactical Mantle isn't raping your white damage. 95 has given 5-hit some nice gear to work with so it's a little better now, particularly for SAM, but it's still not a clear-cut winner.

    For now I only do inside abyssea events sorry if I haven't clarified so hopefully these suggestions apply Are those belts in order of best to moderate or is it just preference? Also how would bandomusha fare vs +2?

    WS back, body, head (Shura +1), earring apply then. Cuch should be better than Anguinus off the top of my head (Anguinus is an acc swap for Jin but that's not so relevant in Abyssea now), a good augmented Warwolf (attack+4ish? been a while since I looked at FoV augments) should be tops but enjoy your ice resistance+3. Current hands are basically 2.5 attack over Tekko +2. All the TP stuff still applies.

    EDIT: totally forgot about Bandos, one sec

    Go with Bandos, only thing that competes is Koga at night.

    All right then sounds great! Now would a standard +1 shura still beat aias? I don't quite understand how the augments work or what it is I should be looking for when it comes down to applying that process. I just want to be as efficient as I can until kannagi

    No, you want at least WSDMG+3% on it.

    Can get some info on augments here.

    thank you so much for all the help, apologies for any trouble. I quit at the very start of last abyssea expansion so I'm slightly out of the loop. BG doesn't seem like the scary place its made out to be

    I didn't think you'd need proofs/math to know a 90cap SAM using a 5hit v. 6hit had almost entirely different gear setups and why with more haste one pulls ahead of the other.

    I've never tried that NM and really haven't looked at it. How much of a pain is it? I'm only 1/3 of the way through w/Kannagi and I'm tired of my gold Katana...

    As far as WS, my Jin set looks similar as I'm still upgrading my ninja too, but I have a question about the belt. I've seen/heard people saying to use Cuch. instead of Anguinus. I'm not mathy so I'm just going off what I think is better, but always having RR on in Abyssea wouldn't you benefit from +5 more attack and the +DA from Anguinus over Cuch?

    When I get to Kannagi, I'll fully post gear, but had 1 question about neck. I'm currently using Breeze gorget for Jin. Should I switch to rancor collar in abyssea but stick with gorget for outside?

    I am NOT a monk, but I thought that the new monk earring from most recent update allowed monks to reach a higher base damage on their weapon and brutal + that earring was now the 'standard'?

    The H2H skill earring requires a lot of concessions in order to break a tier, and is generally not worth it at all. Rancor + Moonshade (high acc) or Ziel + Moonshade (low acc) should both pull ahead of Faith+H2H ear.

    Depends. You only need Faith torque or Af3+2 hands at 95 with capped skill and merits to break a tier, and both of them together won't break a second tier. Your most viable setups are probably Bandomusha+Faith, Af3+2 Hands + Rancor, and Af3+2 Hands + Ziel depending on what you're fighting. I'm not sure how Calc neck stands up, I think Kinematics mathed that out on the Official Forums. I can check.

    But faith+tantra2+bruiser's = next tier. I'm interested in this myself. I'm still betting that Rancor will pull ahead tho, Destroyers for the neck, hell yes.

    Yes. It's just that using all 3 is a huge step down from the best-in-slot items. Rancor Collar (inside/capped acc), and Ziel Charm (uncapped acc where you can take advantage of it) are both steps above Faith torque. Bruisers is terribly mediocre compared to Regain/Attack or Regain/Acc Moonshade. Even AF3+2 hands are only really there for the Dmg+1. Bandos may beat them out in severely attack-uncapped situations.

    Thanks it kind of sounded like Rancor/Moonshade was the way to go. I just found Beir Belt+1 for a decent price and was going to use it for inside set, still curious if this is ok for outside, also will crit4 byakko pull ahead of hachiryu inside/outside? Guardian was mentioning using Zeal in low acc situations. I haven't had a chance to fight new dynamis NMs or high tier Voidwatch, but you would want that neck on them even with sushi/pizza?
