What the fuck is this shit. Fuck you SE. Fuck you.
(Would rather play the original on a real phone any day of the week)
Kind of want to get a iphone and play it at work.
Does the psn version work on ps3 and psp or just psp?
Looks like an asston of skipped frames but they seem to play at the proper speed... and I guess the fix to the audio glitch involves sometimes not getting the audio at all? I didn't hear anything on those spells.
At least the skills seem to play in the correct amount of time though..?
Hm, that's a possibility actually. The Fire at the end seemed way slower than I remembered though...
Hm it says this is for ipod touch, will my old ipod touch be able to play this or is it only for newer ipod touches?
edit: I think my ipod touch is first generation lol.
Yes, the fire spell played slower but if you look, he was getting some general slowdown even before he cast the spell. I think it's more to do with that than anything.
Can tell its bogging him down because the spell charging animation was also taking longer than it normally would, even in the PSP WotL
Rejoice?
WoTL Slowdown Removal Patch:
http://ffhacktics.com/smf/index.php?topic=8490
So I just picked up a PS Vita for Christmas and my first purchase was WotL. But the slowdown is already starting to piss me off, and I'm only in Chapter 1. I don't know anything about jailbreaking or patching on a Vita, any advice?
son of a shitbutt, a bump to this thread sent my imagination in all sorts of weird directions.
With that said, what firmware is yours on? I've heard that the 6.60 TN-B eCFW works to allow the patch for fixing the slowdown and stretching. This is all I've seen on it, though: http://wololo.net/vita-cfw4dummies/
Goddamn; I thought this thread was about a new FFT or something.
Yeah, slowdown sucks; that's why I don't play anything but the original.
As long as you have CFW you can remove the slowdown and enjoy glorious FFT with extra content.
No reason not to play it.
Also, apparently only the PSP version of WotL has the slowdown.
Link to how to remove slowdown from the PSP version? Because I'd love that.

I remember using this. It was like a whole new game.
God fucking damn you for bumping this thread and making me think something was happening with this game.
The patch is glorious. I posted it here ages ago (but Apelila is blind, as it's even on this page ), but just started playing it when I was over at home for Christmas. Also, I dunno why but I never remembered the game being that hard when I first played the PSX version on EMU O.o
For some reason I noticed it being a tad harder than the original as well. The percent chance for attacks to hit always seemed to be a bit more in favor of the enemy team than mine. The very first fight in Gariland is a prime example. 95% chance to hit on the side for an unshielded/non support function opposition team and I swear I missed 1 in 3 attacks. Enemy would attack directly from the front and hit every time. Once I gained shields and support functions like parry/shirahadori, I would get hit way more often to the point where I stopped using support skills like that and just beefed up my HP/Attack.
When the iOS version was released it had the PSP slowdown but they have since "fixed" it by making the spell/summon animations play faster. On the iPhone 5 the game plays very fast and responsive, spells and stuff go fast but they don't sync with the sound effects most of the time. They have also updated the game with higher resolution. It looks really nice. They haven't added widescreen support yet though.
Its on sale right now for 8/9$. Pick this shit up if you haven't already.

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/02/14...nced-graphics/Square Enix finally brought the iOS port of the enhanced PSP port of Final Fantasy Tactics to Android. (That’s a lot of porting!) Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions has been revised with touch screen controls. You can move the map around by sliding and pinch to zoom in or out of the battlefield.
The Android version has a few extra enhancements. The unit graphics are high resolution and the game’s drawing speed has been improved.
iOS users will get an update with all of the added features in the Android version at a later date. Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions costs 1400 points on the Square Enix Market eStore.
