I encounter this error whenever I try to load up the client. After I login this pops up and forces me to close the program.

I have tried replacing the msvcrt.dll file but it won't let me even with administrator rights. My drivers and directx are up to date. I have cleaned up my registry and ran all antivirus and malware programs and came up with nothing. My computer is only 2 weeks old so I'm not sure what to do next.

I haven't tried reinstalling windows or the FFXIV client yet as I am trying to find a better solution.

Also I am using windows 7 64 bit. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I don't have an ATI card. I'm using an NVIDIA Geforce 330M GT. The newest drivers are from July.

edit: all the info I've found seems to be for ATI cards too. Or for a different .dll file causing the error.
