I found out after I purchased a full set of bracelets, earrings, and rings that each accessory has a "slot cost", and you can only have a total of 12 points' worth of accessories. So I can equip 4 rings and a bracelet, but no earrings or a 2nd bracelet because I'm at 12/12. I don't know if the # increases at all with level/rank.

Duno about this phase, but in phase 3 the skill ups were anywhere from 500-1200 per synth. This tied to having a 'free' 3-6 synths including shards/mats was great.

It really looks like all the avatar/summon beastie things are gunna be Beast Tribe Primals. I wonder what that'll mean for us in the long run?..

I suspect Arcanist and Marksman are going to be two of the next jobs simply because of the way the towns are set up. Marksman seems more or less straightforward, but how will arcanist be different from the other two casting classes (beyond having that staff-gun-thing)?

Craftleves are basically free skillups without farming/buying ingredients. Also they give out recipes on completion and some semi-rarish ingredients as a reward.
It's a decent system because the reward increases if you HQ and produce more than the required amount, or turn in superior quality items. Great idea, is a lot of fun for me, just the menus get in the way of most of it.

Any idea where to buy or how to synth canvas dyes? All the info I'm coming across seems to be out dated.

Rank 20 fieldleves showed up for me at rank 16 miner (could be earlier, but that's when I noticed them). Not sure if it's worth while though because the # of times you can harvest a grade 3 node may be severely decreased if your rank is low.

I've been trying to be upbeat about the retainer system and how we may not be getting AH until later on. However, the fact that your retainer is tied to the ward where you set him up at (which makes sense) so that means he can only sell in one location and you can't summon him from any city any more, makes the whole thing extremely limited. Once we get a mog house the personal storage issue wouldn't matter so much, but I'm not keen on paying money to be able to sell in other cities.

Crafing Leves also don't take away from your Battlecraft Leves, so there's really no reason NOT to do them.

I wonder how often you have to do the crafting leves to get to the maximum level...an easy way to level all crafts at the same time

Are Conjurer spells supposed to be AoE? And if so, do the mobs literally have to be on top of each other to work?

I got some Ox red and soot black dye bugs (forget exact name) from Uldah quest mobs that said in the item description they can be used to dye leather.

I assume Alchemist synths those into Dye, > LW then includes that into the synth process with plain white leather.

Gah, my chat filters got screwed. This time it shows me everyone's level ups, what skills they get and how many points to spend lol. Can only turn it off when I turn off that info for myself (somehow there's no separate filter for other people >.<)

I am pretty sure crafting leves do give you enhanced EXP.

They do. I was making over 2k on each successful synth, and making about 500 in skills.
