Kevin did it again, crazy train intro was great. The whole thing with Jim and his elementary school classmate was totally pointless, why was it even in the show. And as usual, any scene with Holly sucked ass.

why are there so many unresolved storylines btw? i just watched an episode from season 6. there's a tiny snippet where ryan promises pam a load of money from betting on football games or something. she just has to make a down payment.

Think they're setting up the Office to end when Steve Carrel leaves, so Jim will probably be finding a better job and Andy will get together with that redheaded girl + be more successful.

Or how when Sabre took over and Jim chose to be a salesman over branch manager due to no cap on commission... yet when that changes for whatever reason he isn't pissed that he could be making more money as branch manager?

Uh, he's still making more money, just they put a cap so he can't have endless commissions. My understanding was that the baseline pay was pretty much identical between the two. And I think being able to goof off and still have the paycheck already guaranteed is more important for Jim.

Also seriously what the fuck is the point of Gabe? I get he's the new Jan/Ryan/Charles Miner so why have him in office?

It's the fucking centerpiece of their Thursday night line up and has some of the highest scripted ratings for NBC period, they'd be retarded to cancel it.

The stuff surrounding The Office (namely, Community and Parks & Rec) are so good right now it's still worth watching it just to see those two. I still enjoy The Office, but it has been better in earlier seasons.
