Does it really take so much time to input a name that they have to go kljgdfaslewirenxlxlidfg as well as just loading a pre-built character get through the process that much quicker? Their little endeavors might last longer if they blended in with the real players at least a little bit instead of looking identical with keyboard mash names.

Can someone post an in game screen of the Hermes Shoes info box? I'm curious how they work and if they are worth it.

There are no mention of any of the bonuses on Hermes' Shoes, Onion Helm, Asuran Armguards, or Garlond Goggles.

Hermes' Shoes give you approximately 15~30 minutes of +50%-ish movement speed (standard quickening buff) from the moment you put them on and they recharge every 24 hours. Removing them will not pause the countdown and dying will not cancel the quickening.

I essentially only use them for a straight run from Gridania to Limsa Lominsa or vice-versa if I am being frugal with my Anima... or I just use them once a day to run to various dangerous camps and aetherial gates to attune to them so I never have to in the future, as you will be able to outrun any aggressive mobs with them as long as you bee-line it. ProTip: aetheryte teleports will be the next "uhh I don't have that maw/telepoint/conflux/etc." crap

FailTip. You can teleport someone to an aetheryte that they've never been to before. I've teleported friends to Limsa who have never left Grid.

Hmm.

My friend tried to port me to LL from Ul'dah but it didn't work. I got the confirmation screen but never actually teleported anywhere.

Bug, I guess.

Yeah, there's a hume with most of the set too, doesn't seem to be anything all too interesting about any of it. Also, we're on the same server, who knew.
