Security Token question

If I set up this security token on my account does that then mean that every time I log into the game I will need the security token readily available to give me my password?

I have kids and need to anticipate them getting it and then it will be gone forever (or until their room gets cleaned)

Yeah, that's the point. Tbh it's a major hassle, but security wise it's hardly beatable.

Yes, when you log in you type in your ID/UN (if you don't have it saved) and then PW + One time code if you have it set up.

You will also require the One time code if you log into your SE account.
