Missions - 3 Parts done, where to next? (Pos Spoilers)

So we did the 3 parted mission in town. But where to next. The dialoge suggests to go to Uldah to the Waking sands in the Merchand wards. Yet the last quest just ends and leaves no trail in the Jeurnal. We couldnt activat a followup quest anywhere even tho someone had 20/20. After running circles in Uldah for an hour we gave up.

Anything we are missing? Or are the next missions not even in the game yet?

Once you speak with Momoko in the Adventurer's Guild, and receive your 40,000 gil and Parley for the main quest, she mentions that you should go to Waking Sands in the Merchants Ward.

What you do is go to the Market Wards (The Dunes) and you will get a cutscene. This will then take you onto a new quest chain that rewards you with a NPC Companion + 60,000 gil.

Might as well ask this here.

At what lvl can you do the third quest of the main questline? The first was lvl1 and second one lvl8 (I think, was 10 for beta), what about the next one?

We got it at around 17, might have been earlier.. maybe 15

Alright, thanks. It's a relief to hear that I don't have to grind all the way to lvl20 to do the next one.

I got it at level 15, but I can't seem to get the cutscene for the next part at 15.

Hmm we didnt get a Cutscene at the marketwards back then. Maybe you need to be 20 job?

i started in LL did the first 2 missions last mission was the battle at the ferry docks area, what level and from whom do i get my next mission?

I'm guessing you need 20+ to start the next part of the chain if you can't receive it yet.
I was 22 when I did it.

As for the NPC companion, it is basically like a combat NPC that helps you. You get to choose its class (GLA, LNC, ARC, THA, CON) + name it. You are meant to be able to summon it using the NPC linkpearl you get from the quest chain (similar to the FFXI companions), but I haven't been able to summon her yet.

You also get 60,000 gil for that part of the chain.

Anyone know how to complete the Gridania battle scene? I choose the right elemental ward but when I try to use it nothing happens and the boss kills me.

To clarify, I was given these missions at rank 15 Alchemist.

Figured it out the hard way. The wards don't seem to do anything. Just don't engage the mob and the NPCs will take care of it for you. I never engaged it and I never died, and I won!

4; Getting Started, Whispers in the Wood, Beckon of the Elementals and Fade to White (i think was the name? I can't remember but it was the one that rewards you with the NPC)

I'm hoping the next quest is at 25, but I'm not sure yet.

I'm from LL and i'm currently on the mission 4: "Never the Twain Shall Meet" but i cant find where to go after talking for the second time to Baderon. I must find something at a certain outcrop on the coast of Bearded Rock but cant find where.

Anyone did this mission and can help me plz ?

Do missions come at you based on your Phsyical level or your individual class level? I'm level 19 overall, but my highest individual level is a 11 weaver.

Might as well post here instead of making another thread.

I'm on Golden Sacrifices, and I have to find F'lhaminn. An NPC in the Weaver's guild supposedly "marked" my map and the journal says she's in northern Thanalan, which doesn't help me at all. I don't see any special mark on my map or anything. I tried going to the Nanawa Mines, but it's full of IT mobs (I'm Physical 10, Rank 8 PUG) don't think she's in there... halp @_@

Wonder if I can start it on a crafting class. Would be hilarious to fight some NPC in some big mission with nothing but WRIST FLICK!
