    Windowed mode - crashes/freezes when using MPC/WMP

When I play in windowed mode and do something else, usually try to watch something via MPC or WMP, windows will freeze/crash (though sound still plays, the screen and everything is frozen).

The only thing I can do after that is force a restart, but I wonder if there's a way around this, or a player that doesn't make my shit crash. It'd be nice to watch some cartoons or crap while crafting.

Weird thing I used to be able to watch stuff during OB, but during retail I haven't been able to. Does anyone else have this problem? I mean, it's easy enough to not do it, but if I want to know if I have options.

Try out VLC, but if MPC is crashing as well your PC may not be able to handle the game+the video

My PC is above average (not top-tier high end, below that). I can run a lot of different shit together, like Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Firefox and a video, and nothing bad will happen.

But having XIV open and a video causes shit to crash. Like I mentioned before, I could do it during P3 and OB, but retail is a no go. I'll try VLC (ugh, hate VLC) tonight and see if it happens.
