what do you mean by speed on dex?
I've never heard the DEX = Speed thing. I'm assuming someone meant it increases your TP regeneration? Eh. Seems unlikely.
Also, MND does not increase Magical Defense. It might boost some sort of resist rates or something (Elemental Resistances?) but your Magical Defense stat will not go up by boosting MND. Also, it had absolutely no effect on lightning-based damage from Efts' "Circlespark" going from like 15 to 90 MND.
Are you sure DEX = Accuracy? I mean logically I was testing that a few days ago and I seriously saw no difference between 60ish DEX and 80ish DEX. Although I can say the same for STR too, considering I saw next to zero difference in that as well. I guess it's just such miniscule amounts it doesn't even matter.
I think DEX affects accuracy a little, though that's what I'm hoping. Weapons have a much bigger impact. More like is that DEX affects critical hit chances, as I remember criting a lot when I had high DEX.
The game itself says DEX = Accuracy, but to what extent, we do not know.
Yes we do. Add dex and your main hand accuracy goes up.
Ah, I assumed if people were so confused they would have tried it themselves. Then Mind definitely does not affect Magical Defense at all... It's looking like only MP.
Yes it does, go to an aetherite and read the "call of adventure" or something like that, it say clearly: (MND) Affect Magical Defense.
STR: Strengh of physical attack
VIT: Physical Defense (& HP, but not listed)
DEX: Physical Accuracy
INT: Magical Power
MND: Magical Defense (& MP, but not listed)
PIE: Magical Accuracy
That what it say.
I'm playing on french version MND (Esprit), say Magical Defense (Défense Magique) as for resist it would be: Résistance Magique.
Anyway, when you put DEX on stats, you dont see the accuracy bonus from it on character menu, so you should'nt see neither the magic defense.
They look like more a modifier to a pure stats.
It did not change my Magical Defense stat when I went from like 18 MND to 90-something MND when I tested it at the very end of Open Beta. Has it changed?
Oh, hadn't noticed the speed thing. I just cut n paste his list. Duh.
Didn't someone say MND also affects cure potency?
It does. I think Stoneskin as well.
barely though
2 MND seem 1 more HP cured from the quick and raw test in the Conj topic.
VIT and MND are the only ones that actually seem to do anything. Weapons have more of an effect on magic potency than any amount of INT.
