The game is pretty much a joke in terms of challenge and considered the bastard child in the history of Final Fantasy. It is a pretty fun game if you're new to RPGs (which is why it was made, to help make the RPG genre popular in the US).
It does have it's high points, like weapons can be used in dungeons to help you advance (Swords to poke switches, Axes to cut down trees, Claws to climb walls/cross large gaps) and of course, the music, like the final boss theme:
If you like mystic quest music, Rudra no hihou also had some great track as well (same guy composed the music). The story also had great potential, but the character are bland and boring, and the battle system is repetitive.
Yeah, I played Rudra no Hihou a bit, and I have the music on my PC. Great soundtrack.
Speaking of:
If this thread was titled 'Best FF soundtrack of all time!' then I'd be able to decide to in a heartbeat...
Also fuck, I forgot about The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah theme from FFXI, I love that shit a little too much I think.
Nope, trying to keep it to one song to really make people think. I think when you get into an entire OST, things become a bit easier.
If I had to choose best ending theme, it'd be FFVI vs. FFX. Fuck man I can't even narrow it down!
Final Fantasy VI - The Veldt (game version)
And of course, the whole ending theme
Wow... that was amazing. Lol.
no love for the ff4/3 OSTs in here
One of my favorite final boss themes :D
Also why is there not a button for video tags? X_X
Where can I get an MP3 of that Snoop vs. Nobuo track? Holy damn.
FF4 OST still my fav after all these years
Speaking of FFIV, this theme sent exciting chills down my spine when I first heard it
And this one too
And who could forget this classic
No gilgamesh themes yet? I am disappoint...

Not that it's my favorite, but it's one of them and it wasn't mentioned yet:
And always liked the FFVII AC version of the boss theme, I like alot of that soundtrack actually.
