Here at BG headquarters we thought about doing an April Fools post, but I shot the idea down. I've never been a big fan of the whole thing. But here are some of the ideas that we shot down.

Everyone who left for WoW is rejoining the game! Considering what happened when the same joke was used before they quit, we decided to scrap that in fear that this joke may as well come true.

Atumre has been named king of Final Fantasy XI. I decided that it wasn't very funny, just a thinly veiled excuse to throw in this picture.

Septimus inked a deal with Sony to develop a new MMORPG, RMTquest. RMTquest is a game where your money develops your character. Want new armor? RMT it. Want to level up? You don't have fight monsters; you can pay for your XP. Want to cast a high level spell? It's only $10.95 per cast of Thunder 6. We scrapped the idea in fear of riots in the UAE when they found out it was fake.

We thought about making a Rocl Talk feature Aphmau voiced by someone with a deep voice. But we collectively decided that we like not being D/Ced and not having our EX equipment winding up in our Bazaars.
