But now the day that they all have feared has finally come to pass- the Suppapocalypse has begun.

All across Vana'diel, Abyssal Earrings, Beastly Earrings, Bushinomimis, and Knight's Earrings have found themselves cast aside en masse. Cleaning crews in the major cities have been working double schedules to keep up with the pace of the discarded earrings littering the streets- it is said that the ferry to Nashmau was delayed because Port Ephramad was filled with Bushinomimis. The nests of monsters are now lined with abandoned earrings- eye witnesses have reported that the nests of several Perytons in the Valley of Sorrows are composed primarily of Abyssal Earrings. The Infirmary Monberaux in Upper Jeuno has issued a warning to adventurers to stay away from Qufim Island because of injuries sustained during a mysterious rain of Beastly Earrings and Knight's Earrings accompanied by what sounds like the glorious singing of hundreds of adventurers coming from the heavens.

And what a glorious day it is! What was once a life-crushing mistake is now a trifling inconvenience. No more shall we be bound by the sins of the past, now we shall walk in the light- the glorious light that blazes forth from the Suppanomimi. Let us rejoice, for our day of vindication has finally arrived.
