Everybody needs something. Survival, water, shelter, food, love, respect, fame, money, things. Everyone has needs. Characters in Final Fantasy XI are no different, they need things as well. They need Experience Points, they need gil, they need gear, they need to skill up. My second character, Atumre, needs things too.

For starters, Herald's Gaiters. Sure, he gets places, but he could get there 12% faster. I think a recent survey by a reputable university showed that 70% for all deaths in the game could be prevented if the WHM had movement speed, so by not giving Atum a pair of Herald's Gaiters the linkshell leadership is basically stating that they condone 70% of deaths at linkshell events.

Secondly, Atum needs a Dalmatica. Sure, he has two refresh body pieces (Cleric's Briault and Noble's Tunic- and don't think that I didn't notice that it isn't and Aristocrat's Coat), but what about his Bard? Sure, he could use that Vermillion Cloak that the Linkshell gave him, but then he can't wear a hat! That is just cruel.

Thirdly, Atum needs a Gjallarhorn. Sure, he has instruments, but what sense does it make for him to lug them all around? Plus there is no other Ballad+ instrument, except for the Storm Fife with it's skanky +1 effect that only happens in Assault. I ask you, is that right? Is that fair? Look within your heart, you know that it most certainly is not.

Also a Shadow Mantle and Shadow Ring would be nice too. Sometimes pulling can be dangerous.
