Holy crap. Megatokyo is still around. Their forums are a ghost town compared to back in the day.
That's interesting. I followed CAD very closely in the early days of the webcomic and eventually dropped off along with next week's webcomic and never bothered picking either back up. Still it was too important a part of webcomic history to just forget about it and I'm trying to keep a healthy balance of old and new webcomics.
So, I guess to not be part of the CAD bashing... Tim actually rebooted the story completely in the last month after giving Ethan and Lucas like...a year off. So, there's not really any need to go back and cover a lot of old story, unless you basically want to read a "finished" webcomic.
XD poor CAD.
Boooooo on CAD, B^Uckley is a thing the internet should let fade away.
It's actually Gradius (AKA Nemesis) when it was ported to the Famicom/NES. The code was made because Hashimoto found the game to be too hard for play testing so he created the code for that but forgot to remove it. Because it became so popular and well loved, they snuck it in future games. :D But I think most Americans would immediately say Contra because that was what popularized it. Or rather what it's most famously known for. But even looking at the game from both Japanese and NA release dates, Gradius/Nemesis beats it.
Trivia #2: I'm probably wrong, but the first game I remember using the Konami code on was Contra for the NES. Awesome times!
I don't think I even made it to that arc. XD CAD never did it for me.
Trivia Question #2 got me. Ctrl + Alt + Del was one of the many webcomics I read when I was in college, but I stopped after the whole miscarriage storyline. That arc was beyond cringeworthy.

Once again I haven't been interviewed.
I like TOR, but it is really easy to get bored quickly. You have to be pretty hardcore into it to not lose interest within 2-3 months. I would says it's a good game to drop $30 on a two month sub maybe once or twice a year to get caught up with their canon storyline.
I still haven't been interviewed yet. BG is being held back by this.
Yes it is! One of the designers pointed out to the team and they changed the gender because well... It was true haha.
For the Phoenix Wright question, that's from the first Steel Samurai case, right? I played the shit out of those games, and never knew that.
Enjoyed this weeks post, even knew the trivia. Definitely a HUGE week for nintendo, a wiiU may be on my horizon
Shit, forgot about vgcats.

Woah woah woah woah. Smash Bros, where?
Absolutely. I'm book marking it right now to read through it.
