Ragns

2012 was mostly filled with deceptions. FFXI didn’t bring enough to stop the decline of the current game. Everyone is waiting for news about FFXIV. Mists of Pandaria can be summed up as bland. Other alternatives like Tera and Guild Wars 2 died quickly. At least for 2013 we have Seekers of Adoulin and FFXIV-2 to look forward to.

Random Image Threads
It’s a secret to no one that as BGers get bored with FFXI/FFXIV/WoW/Tera we’re slowly becoming yet another imgur/9gag clone. This year we saw 4 threads:

• XXXVI: WHY THE FUCK DOESNT [SPIDER] [/SPIDER] WORK!!??!?!??!!?
• XXXVII: This thread is the worst.
• XXXVIII: And there go my nipples again.
• XXXIX: I can't decide between the blue or purple pill.

We can’t talk about BG in 2012 without mentioning Tera Online. The hype for it was way bigger than FFXIV but too bad it died 2 months after the release. Apparently T&A and lolis isn’t enough to keep BGers playing.

Bentertainment Geekly
Bentertainment Geekly was forked from GD so people can track their favorite shows/movies/anime. The pony apocalypse is still converting people into bronies and I still don’t get what this Homestuck thing is all about. Since the anime thread got turned into its own subforum people can now track the new seasonal animes with their specific threads. Bleach and Naruto still stay on top as the most popular anime but followed close behind with Sword Art Online. Sorry for the One Piece fans.
