So I didn't see this in Console Wars, or a thread. Isn't anyone excited for this? I feel so bad for people from Japan who bought only bought a 360 to play it and ended up getting shitted on with this.

They'll find some way to nerf Rita.
Kotaku - Tales Of Vesperia RAGE!! - PS3
This guy went nuts.
Seems they are adding a ton of stuff. More voice acting (during scenes when there was no voice acting), new character, probably new sub-quests / costumes for the new character.
Lol, cry more.
Edit: It's good that they're adding more stuff, if they don't nerf anything I'll just trade in 360 version for a discount on it or something.
Edit2: Screw it, even if they do I'll get it lol.
LOL @ Sankaku Complex
PS3 Tales fans are thanking the Xbox 360 beta testers for their troubles in ensuring the PS3 version offers the best possible Tales experience for them to enjoy…
I wouldnt be surprised if they do a re-release on xbox as well.
Not trying to contradict you but has that ever happened before? Maybe you mean DLC content or a patch to (attempt to) include the things theyre putting on the Blu-Ray
That happens sometimes(happens frequently in Falcom games...sigh), but that said it would be incredibly unlikely in this case, DLC is more likely, though I wouldn't get my hopes up for even that.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
RAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
STOP MAKING GOOD RPGS ON THE 360, THEN MAKING A +1 VERSION FOR ANOTHER CONSOLE
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
So I herd you like extra stuffs. I still need to get this and Infinite Undiscovery someday can probably find the 360 version used by now.
I am pissed off.
Why?
Is it because the PS3 is getting something that makes it more appealing, and the 360 less appealing, or because I'm a fanboy? Fuck no. I don't give a fucking shit about console wars crap.
I'm pissed that I spent the time playing a game, enjoying it, and getting the most out of it, and then they release a completely new version with a ton of added shit. You want to release the game on another system? Knock yourselves out! Just stop adding so much bonus content that one version is incredibly superior than the other.
This is really starting to irritate me.
Eternal Sonata (360 --> PS3)
The Last Remnant (360 --> PC --> ps3?) [havent played this one yet tho]
Tales of Vesperia (360 --> PS3)
Any others I'm missing?
There was a whole mess of people that told me this would never happen. Guess they weren't precogs after all. Got it for my 360 already, but I'll grab it on my PS3 too.
This has been happening a lot lately, just a while ago it was Ninja Gaiden 2, now this? I'll be picking it up, been a long time since I've played a new RPG.
Seriously. This is like being angry about MGS2: Substance or MGS3: Subsistence.
That's not why Julian is complaining.
And wow, people still buy 360s with the expectation that its exclusives are actually going to remain exclusive?
p.s. I wonder how many times I'm going to have to type this out before the forum stops shitting a brick when I hit reply
Yeah cause I'm just talking about tales games and not rpgs in general.
The difference between this and a "Final Mix"/"FES"/whatever version, is that this is taking a game that was on one console, making it available on another (porting it), and including a shit-ton of bonuses, which basically makes the other console's version obsolete. (Personally, I'm not really a big fan of making upgraded version of games so soon after their release)
I probably over-reacted a little bit when I saw this, but it still irritates me that they keep doing this.
edit: basically, i guess, there's a difference.
Port vs Remake
Porting a game to another system, ok
Remaking the game with new stuff, depending on how old the game is, kind of an assholeish move by the companies, but not that bad.
Putting both in one, where they basically remake the game, then port it into a completely different system, fuck you
