I'm wondering what the Gamestop demo entails. Does that mean they'll have the game on their little kiosks in the store, or is there some sort of demo disk they're giving out?

At today's Nintendo Media Summit, Nintendo dropped some pertinent details about Capcom's very successful and Wii Speak-compatible hunt-em-up, Monster Hunter Tri. The game will release on April 20 in North America as two versions: bundled with a Classic Controller Pro for $59.99 (while supplies last) and as a standalone game for $49.99. The game will also ditch the pay-to-play model for online play, as used in Japan, in favor of free online functionality. Additionally, GameStop pre-orderers will receive a demo disc on March 8.
Considering Capcom was beating itself up over whether or not to charge for online play, we're glad the publisher finally came around and went with the option that requires us to spend less money. Just imagine -- with all the money we'll save, we can import even more delicious ramen!
Im getting this game for sure, but chances are I may wait till Zelda comes out, to buy a wii. Get Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid, this and zelda. All im really looking forward to on the console.
God I can't wait for this. Sadly, I never got to play Monster Hunter for PSP as I never owned a PSP.. so I really can't wait for this. This and Galaxy = win
Kiarax, Shiro and Domon Kasshu, get a Wii D:
Well, I know for a fact Kiarax has a Wii as he played Smash Bros. Brawl. D:
Don't forget about Kuno the great.
Still debating on getting this. Never really got into the PSP games, but it may just be because I don't like to play real serious games on it too often. Much less pseudo-MMO type games.
This could be promising though, since I actually have a WiiSpeak.
Monster Hunter is like Disgaea in my opinion as, you either love the game to death and play it into the ground, or its not for you. Most of the people i talk to that hated it for psp, hated it because of the camera, not because of the game itself. The multiplayer can be a blast though, and since its on wii, it will have a much larger audience i think.
Hey Kuno
Spoiler: show
Yeah, this game will go and make me dust off my Wii. I don't think I've used it since Brawl lol.
Oh wait I'm lying, I'm playing Skies of Arcadia on it currently.
Just a) moved my Wii back upstairs to the nice HDTV, and b) pre-ordered this game. Now we wait. I haven't played my Wii in about 6 months, and I noticed it has a nice little rattle to it now... awesome?
Ugh I wish I had a Wii.
Oh well.. Lost Planet 2 will be my replacement.
Been waiting for this game since it was first announced so I'm def excited.
