Square Enix working on PS3 and Windows Vista MMORPG

Yesterday Japanese news website, Impress, reported that the Final Fantasy XI development team gave some detail about their plans for next generation consoles and Windows Vista. But I don't think Tetsuya's team is the same team that works on FFXI, so it's probably nothing to even do with KH.

Square does have another MMO out right now I think. I believe it's called "Fantasy Earth", which they introduced after their other MMO failed.

Fantasy Earth pretty much sucks at this point... well I guess. It's absolute PvP content, almost no PvE at all(like 5 quests total). It's about joinning a nation and taking over continents. There are no linkshells per say >.>.

So it's a big zerg fest full of pvp?

Its like..

6 counties and they go to war constantly. There is like one island each and one in the middle(that gets the most war). You can hit level 20. It has WoW like skills and skill trees.

A war will be declared and everyone in the zone fights for their nation. The easier way to get exp is through PvP. It's like a real RTS thing going on.

I guess the concept is pretty simple? Basically everyone just PvP's all day long to hold their country. I like games with story though, hence why I enjoy FFXI. =[

idk, I heard it was gonna be for PC/Windows7 too but who knows. I just hope they change the names of the races but keep them generally the same, release the game with terrible net framework and poor resource management so everything lags, and I especially hope there are systems in place to both fuck the player (RNG) and fuck the player (fatigue system PLEASE! I don't want people who can play more than me to progress faster!!!)
