Most of em just can't let go of that "too many white film critics" statement. It was dumb, but I always try and separate the actor from their political bias. Movies are supposed to be escapism. Some people also forget Brie had to film Endgame alongside Captain Marvel, so it was hard for her to nail Carol's personality down. She'll have to down in the sequel.

True but either way, if you're trying to push diversity, why not push it in something that truly matters? Film reviews are at the bottom of the totem pole on things that need change.

Either way, it's just silly to me and didn't ruin the movie for me in the slightest. I loved her in Endgame and can't wait to see more of Carol going forward.

I'm pretty sure it was because the entire point of her story was that everyone told her to be boring and hide her emotions lol. Then she finally said fuck that and was laughing and screaming and having fun blowing shit up in space.
