I know there’s been a ton of us newly christened fathers this year! Hopefully the wifey or significant other can give you the day off from cleaning up the little ones piss and shit lol.

I have 4 kids, but I'm not making a post about me. I was raised by a single father after my parents divorced when I was really young. I grew up in a small ass town of about 1,000 people. There's not much there. Drugs, coal mines, and corn fields. No one in my family was a college graduate. My dad worked a deadend factory job and rented small 2 bedroom houses that were about 1,000 sq ft. He saved up money and took me on vacations every year. By the time I was 12, I had been to places like Chicago, Disneyworld, Universal...all the while my dad was probably making about $12 an hour. I left home at 18, went to college, graduated, etc. My dad recently built a house beside my 95 year old grandmother who lives alone. And it's not his mom. It's my mom's mom. Again, my parents divorced about 30 years ago, but my dad is a great fucking dude. My dad still raises kids. He keeps my sisters kids and my cousins kids about 90% of the time because they don't have the most stable households. My dad is a god damned boss. I managed to find a 25 year old pic of my dad and I and restored it. Cheers pops.

I was lucky enough to grow up in a good house with a great dad (and mom). I never understood why so many of my friends wanted to come over and hang out with my dad, they always seemed like cool dads when I went to see them but a lot of them didnt have the best dads growing up (moms too). So my dad is dad to a lot of other kids and thats cool
