Ahh. I quit after about 10 minutes of Michonne because of a lack of interest. Final season was fine and I liked some new things they did with it, but it was for me either 3rd or 4th out of the main games.

Michonne got better as it went on but suffered from the same problems as all the games had after the first: The characters aren't interesting.

I won't say S1 was great but for the most part I thought the character writing was significantly better. Everyone except who you play as felt like fodder after that.

Why wouldn't they just transfer them back to warehouse? Everything that's mostly sellable for that matter.. If it were me I'd get rid of the clothing/collectible shit and the rest gets sent back to hq

Smart decisions are not what got them to their current predicament. Six years of working with hundreds of other companies has really, really opened my eyes to the sheer brainlessness of your average organization.

I believe it's better liquidate at a loss than spend the money to transport to a warehouse and then get taxed on idle inventory that has no potential to get sold.

I would say it's probably this reason. We have to report expected revenue for tax reasons. If you have a large stock of items that are potentially going to be sold for full price you're going to reporting more than if you sell everything for cost/at a loss. Less taxes you owe at the end of teh year.

cdkeys.com has the digital version of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for a little over $5 for their Daily Deal. US/CA only.

Finally picked that up even if I won't play it for a while.

I started playing it but it was a little slow. I forget why, but started playing something else and haven't got back to it. Great looking game and it is fun. For $5 it should be a no brainer even if it is coming to PC at some point.

I've never had issues with their keys.

But I wouldn't say how they obtain the keys are necessarily legitimate.

Yeah, what Tyrath said. I've bought around 10+ games from them over the last 2 years or so and haven't had any problems. But I think they're considered a gray market cause of how they obtain their keys.

This site has a pretty good write up on how the company works, but basically:

According to cdkeys themselves, their competitive price point is a result of thirty years of experience and a wide network of suppliers. They claim that they buy from all corners of the world and because of this, they can ensure the cheapest possible prices.

Now, this might all be well and true, but what does it really mean?

In reality, this means that cdkeys.com buys video games in bulk from cheap third-world countries. And, after that, they re-sell these same keys to customers in first-world countries at a higher price.

That site explains a lot more in detail, but they are essentially taking advantage of how developers sell keys for less to other countries that typically can't afford buying games at their usual price.
