7 unsung weapons for the first month or two then they adjust it to 4 in the next major patch or close.

I did one Variant dungeon solo as RDM, kinda tedious/slow alone tbh, first boss also wiped me twice before I learned to deal with his mechanics, but overall it wasn't that bad. Still feels like it will be more enjoyable to do with at least 2 people.

Then I tried Criterion and damn, it kicked our butts hard. It's basically extreme-level dungeons. Can't mass pull trash mobs because they 1-2 shot non-tanks and have nasty aoes. I had to leave on the first boss after wiping on it for like 20-min because I didn't expect the whole things to take this long. Lots of figuring out patterns on the fly and not much forgiveness for mistakes.

Manderville story felt a bit short but holy crap the relic weapons look nice. Paladin matches their relic armor perfectly.

Have there been any guides for the variant dungeon out there with theories/solutions/etc? I tried the middle path 5 times and still fail at the scales. I know the ripped flag gives a hint to what the left or right is but so far 0/5 on a correct guess.

bruh this shit is what makes me loathe the NA DCs. They all use these absolutely impossible to understand without googling it strategies instead of a fucking macro that says everything in-game like EU/JP does.

Lord help you if you skipped a raid tier or EX fight cause some strats/descriptions use the same nomenclature from those old fights so you'd be even more confused. I skipped most of Shadowbringers so when people were saying Diamond strat or 1/3 Enumeration, I just rolled my eyes. I still have no idea what people mean when they say Bull S or Bull N for P7S but I haven't died or yeeted someone yet so I guess it's not important. Seen plenty of times where people just peaced out if someone dropped a macro in party chat lol.
