I second that because the Attention whores start everything, the zombies have no effect unless there are attention whores to start out with, But if there were just attention whores, theyd still be annoying.

It's a vicious circle really, attention whores create the post and the zombies reply (usually this rule only applies if the chance that the OP is female is >75%) thus fueling the inevitable creation of more useless posts by other insecure members to try and match popularity.

I eagerly await the day that one such poll/post is created by said attention whore and it goes unanswered.

Depends on the attention whore really. Some attention whores I genuinely enjoy and I am happy to fuel their antics.

Zombie who follow attention whore are usually annoying by themselves, and there wouldnt be any attention whore without the zombie. That make them twice as annoying.
I supose you could use this logic the other way around, but brown nose are still the worst imo. It's normal to want attention, and people who get some are more likely going to continue being attention whore
