Seriously, wtf (Windows 7 monitor settings halp)?

Ok, I know that there HAS to be some fucking way to make the monitor switch to 1280x1024 when I get on my user account, and go back to 1024x768 for the rest of the folks here with poor eyesight... right?

I've checked for all sorts of personal on log in options, but we just got the new comp a couple days ago, and it came with W7... so atm we got no other shit to swap that for.

Tell me that I'm being a total retard for not noticing the super fucking obvious way to make it do this so I don't have to swap it manually and swap it back every time I use the damn thing, please.

Increase the icon/text size on their account, don't change the resolution.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest that to him, I don't know how he can stand 1024x768 on this shitty little monitor, but hell if that's the only option... ty!

Yeah, monitor resolution settings are system-wide. Font sizes can be adjusted per-account, so that's really gonna be your only option.

depending on your videocard, you could add custom resolutions via the Video Card Control Panel.

PS: but a resolution not really supported by your monitor, can cause serious side effects (i think even maybe kill it over time)

Oh, it's supported, they've just got bad eyes and prefer the big cartoony wtf 1024x768 over 1280x1024 like I use.
