The fact that people are happy to spend $40+ on an in-game teleport item makes me nauseous. Regardless of what $40 means to you, don't you see anything wrong with it? This is basically first party RMT with quarter machine quality jewelry tacked on to pretend it isn't.

Except the money is going to the company of SE - the same ones who make this game, and not some dude in china.
I mean you pay 12.95 a month at minimum for XI right, do you consider that RMT?

And now I instantly do not want it anymore. If it's $20 to Hawaii , imagine the arm and leg it'd cost to AU. Hell, Play Asia charged me 25 to ship to AU and that was a gamecube + assorted DS games.

The JP shipping is much more reasonable... but I imagine it's because Japan is a smaller country...

Anywhere a boat would normally take you, you now warp from that location to the next i.e. Sandy => Jeuno; Whitegate => Nashmau.

It's a $40 teleport.

We accept US issued credit card only.

Ordering mine on the US site, just FYI for anyone who might be ordering it to ship to a US address (say, to a friend who lives there who might ship it to you) but wanted to pay with a foreign credit card. Lucky I still have my US credit card based at my parent's address, even though I changed FFXI over to my foreign card for monthly payments.

Hmm, what does this do for Canadian players? They don't have a separate version of the game like EU players...

The in-game item is worthless. It takes 3 minutes max to go from your home nation to Jeuno using the Whitegate tele. The only thing it would be slightly useful for would be the tele to Nashmau, but that is no way worth spending 43$ + shipping on some crappy necklace. Is there even a reason to be in Mhaura? Also, you can just OP warp or tele and walk to Kazham. I guess if you are on a low level job it could help if you are too damn lazy to wait for the airship. But seriously, huge waste of money.
