Yes, it was slightly creepy, but there was not a single spine-tingling moment in that movie. Maybe I have just been desensitized by 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I felt the same way about The Ring. But then again, except when I was rather young, horror movies never really got to me. They're entertaining, but I just can't believe that most of that could possibly happen. It actually kinda worries me that people are impressionable enough to lose sleep over The Ring...

It scared the crap outa me...but mainly because I used to have an ancient TV that would turn itself on somtimes.

P.S. - Hostel sucked...45 minutes of boobs, 45 minutes of blood. As a straight man I hate to say this too, but the first 45 minutes didn't even have to be in the movie.

Horror movies try to hard these days. Just turns them into an SFX cheese fest with trash plots penned by the same guy who wrote Aeon Flux.

I don't even bother watching them, even when they're free.
