Do I have to kill placeholders to make him pop or does he just... pop? He's 21 hour NM, and I've been in the desert for like 8 hours. If you know his last deathtime, /tell me so I know if I'm wasting my time.

I realized he was 21 hour pop >.> I did do a little research on him.. just some people said you had to kill placeholders.. some people said you didn't. That was mostly what was causing my confusion.

Exactly as Namfoodle said, he's 21 hour pop with like a window where he can pop after that. In my experience (I've hunted, killed and gotten the drop of all six of the recently added Beastman NM's) it's closer to twenty minutes. You don't need to kill any placeholders and it's worth pointing out that these NM's have more of a designated "area" to pop in as opposed to one square. Centurio XII-I can pop anywhere around the top of the ruins but never down below near the zone to Quicksands.

Updated. (*'-') Thanks to Kuno, Elhaym, Cotillion, and Kisu. Camping this NM is crazy b/c when it's pop time, everyone and their mom shows up to camp.
