when you macro in af1 head for souleater, do you have to leave it on for it to take affect?

or can you macro it from the start, and take it off for another peice of armor and still have it "enhanced"

It's 5% subbed, 10% main, 12% with any one enhanced item, items don't stack.

And yes, you must leave the helm on to keep the enhancement...it sucks.
