So, Richard Hammond was in a pretty serious crash yesterday filming the new series of 'Top Gear'. Dunno if any of you Americans watch it, but I know it's been quite the talking point in the last day or so; since everybody loves Top Gear. Personally, I love the show, despite very little knowledge or interest in cars. Hope he's alright... Anyways:
-Taken from BBC NewsTop Gear presenter Richard Hammond remains seriously ill in hospital after a crash in a jet-powered car while filming for the BBC programme.
The 36-year-old was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary's neurological unit on Wednesday.
A hospital spokesman said: "He has seen some improvement overnight, but remains in a serious but stable condition."
Mr Hammond had been in a dragster-style car capable of reaching speeds of about 300mph at Elvington airfield near York.
I remember Zigma posting a link to one of the videos of Top Gear a few months ago, so I figured a few people might like the show and just weren't aware of this
