"snicker snag" is the first thing that came to mind, straight from MST3K. But if you've ever eaten a Snickers candybar, your saliva gets extremely... elastic? I dunno, it gets slimy, perfect for the act. I was assuming snag was the act, snicker was more of a specific form of snag, chocolaty caramel snag.
