Step Up = Save the Last Dance???

    http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.ya...ing_tatum2.jpg vs http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P...2.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

about a boy who is trying to make it as a dancer in a nice area?
    vs.
about a girl who is trying to make it as a dancer in the bronxish...

Did anybody think of this when they saw the preview for Step Up? I have no intention of seeing this or anything, but I couldn't help but think they're the same movie but switched a little.

One thing I thought particularly funny about this preview(i just saw this about 5 minutes ago) it's marketing campaign is "Everyone once in a while, there is a movie that defines a generation." WTF. Who's generation does this steaming pile define.

The only thing the movie preview reminded me of is the turd I forgot to flush.

Seriously, who the fuck in Hollywood sits in their fat leather chair and gives a heap of vomit like this movie the seal of approval to be made?

Surprisingly enough, 2 people I know have asked me to go with them to see it. I still won't just because I hate dance movies. Wasn't there just one with Antonio Banderas and Rufio from Hook where he tries to teach some hoodlums how to ballroom dance? I mean seriously

    Yup, I thought the same.

Well, I actually really liked Save the Last Dance, but Step Up just doesn't seem so appealing to me for some reason. I'd much rather see Clerks 2 again, or see Talladega for the first time than this.

Honey is the best dance movie >.>
    alba ftw

but yea the Step up chick is hotter than the Save the last dance chick

Talladega Nights was hilarious. If you like will ferrel's comedy. If not, you'll hate it.

Haven't seen clerks 2 yet but I heard that was really good too.

Wtf, why is it everywhere I go people fucking love the movie "Hook"... I fucking hate that movie so much, and it really gets on my nerves when I'm surrounded by people that love it

Maybe I hate it because I fucking hate Julia Roberts, and any movie she's in makes my want to vomit for 5 hours.

and LOL Lbelle... I'm more amazed at the fact that you even brought up the subject of comparing those two movies XD

you're insulting my aspiration to become a great, homosexual-looking dancer.

    fuck you

Even if you hate Julia, Robin Williams' amazingness transcends Julia's shittyness.
