New quests

Ok so far I have found 2 new quests.

1st is "Led Astray", gotten from Mhasbaf who is on the ledge in the devout way in Whitegate. You have to look for a kidnapped employer of 3 galka.

2nd is "Saga of the Skyserpent", gotten from Fari-Wari in the Shararat Teahouse in Whitegate. You are supposed to find an item dropped by Rughjadeen in Halvung.

Any more info/quests guys?

I finished this quest, I found Septimus. Apparently Tonko captured him so he could be the attention of the galka men in Aht Urgan.

Anyone finished these yet?

For Led Astray, after you get the initial cutscene, you have to run down to the pillar where you saw the old man and the woman to do the next part. I told them I'd help them (not sure if you actually have a choice), and I don't know where to go next.

Also, Moment of Truth is now active. Talk to Mishhar to start it, then zone into the Teahouse. After that, talk to Mishhar again, and he tells you to go to Mamook. I haven't went hunting there yet.

Ok, finished Moment of Truth and Saga of the Skyserpent.

For Moment of Truth: Mishhar > Teahouse > Mishhar > Mamook ??? (J-7, right at the Northern Wajaom exit) > Jade Sepulcher.

Next is a BC fight against three mamools : BLM, WHM, and NIN. Didn't 2hour, was really easy - duoed it RDM/NIN + MNK/NIN.

After that, go back to Mishhar, where he gives you a random medicene as your reward! I got a Vile Elixir +1, while my friend got Strength Potion.

For Skyserpent : Fari-Wari (Teahouse) > Halvung ??? (H-10) past the Bronze Gate, on the very narrow "strip" at the coordinate > Fari-Wari > Biyaada (G-7 Al Zahbi).

Then wait a game day > Fari Wari one last time.

Reward is 1000 IS and a Gold coin.

Going to work on Led Astray tomorrow.

Here's how Led Astray works, finished this the other day.

1. Talk to Mhasbaf at J-8, upstairs in Whitegate.

2. After the CS go downstairs to the pillar where you say the girl and the Elvaan hiding.

3. Speak to Tohka Telposkha at I-8, on the lower level. I don't know what happens if you choose any other than "Port Ephramad" for the answers to these, but you need to choose that for all three NPCs.

4. Speak to Rubahah at F-9.

5. Speak to Cacaroon at G-11.

6. Go down the ramp at I-11 for another cutscene and the key item Letter from Bernahn.

7. Speak to Tataroon at G-8 in Nashmau, for the grand prize of 1 Imperial Silver Piece.

But yeah, flagged this quest yesterday and wanted to get a little more info before heading out to find the ???.

Zone into Halvung from Wajaom Woodlands. Chocobo from Al Zahbi, ride all the way to the west end of the map. You'll see Carmine Eruca + Woodtrolls next to the watchtower there, followed by a tunnel leading to the zone. The path inside is one-way through some bats and eruca and leads right to the gate.

Open gate .
Look to your left.
???
Profit.

Nope, just click on the gate. It doesn't even drop your sneak. The ??? is just inside the gate, off to one side. No mobs around (at least when I did it), so click and warp/teleport/escape/whatever out.

The real benefit to completing Saga of the Skyserpent is the story you get after turning in the ribbon. Aphmau's connection with the palace is made beginning to be made clear, and Galadar is just nuts.

Led Astray is something you can do when you'd otherwise sit in Whitegate out of boredom. Meat of the quest is just cutscenes in Whitegate, and you can pick up the Imperial silver piece reward whenever you need to pass through Nashmau on your way to do something else.

I'd be more interested in Moment of Truth if the BC turns out to be repeatable. The reward table is based upon the job you are when it comes to reward time:
