are you sure its your wireless lol >.>
yes its my wireless...lol
Well, your wireless card has the proper IP settings, but you'll need to go into your ethernet adapter and either have it assign them, or input them manually.
its not even that i think, when i take off my router and everything i cant even direct connect to FF11 with my modem, somthing wrong with it or am i missing somthing?
Um..maybe im not understanding, but if you're not getting an IPs through your ethernet card, you'll need to set them. go into Dos and see if you are pulling what i assume would be a 192.168.x.x address. If you have proper IPs set into you're ethernet card, maybe its something to do with port forwarding. I dont know, im not really technologically savvy either, but i used to do cable modem tech support a couple of jobs ago a few years ago.
If you are saying you can't connect to FFXI when your computer is plugged directly to the net (web is working), it's most likely a firewall on your pc that is blocking FFXI port.Originally Posted by Medivac
It could be Norton, or it could be Window firewall.
config panel --> Internet/Network --> Firewall --> exception --> add FFXI
do you get a computer down there saying "Limited of no connectivity"?
im on ps2, probally shoulda said that at the beggining xD

so i really dont know what to do about it ><
right click on your wireless connection and go to status, the go to support and then go to details.
With that information, go to your PS2 and fill in the blanks with the information there BUT, where it says IP, don't put the same thing. If your wireless connection has an ip of 192.168.0.1 then make your ps2 192.168.0.2
make sure the beginning numbers are the same as the one to your wireless but change the one on your ps2 the one after that.
