Version Update: Multiple Crashes?

Wasn't sure where to post this one, mods can move to appropriate place.

Is anyone else experiencing a ton of crashes since the update? Twice I was in my satchel, hitting ALT to speed things up to the bottom, and both times I crashed, now, I just exited a bazaar and crashed there too. Another guy on Bismarck said he just crashed as well. There's no way I'm the only guy that's crashing a ton from random things.

I crashed once so far, sorta. It was more like an instantaneous DC, though. One moment I was melee'ing a mob, the next my screen was black with an error msg. Acknowledging the message kicked me all the way back to POL too. Was weird.

Crashed once while engaging a mob, thought it was spellcast but idk.

crashed twice. once in item list, scrolling down in either sack, locker, or satchel. Another in while scrolling down in spell list.

Twice now, both while fighting a mob and using an ability so it's probably spellcast for me.

Twice so far, my friends and people in my VW alliance are also DCing a lot, most while using spells or WS, but some while just trading cells and the like. Tried unloading Spellcast and haven't DC'd since then, but it's only been 15 mins or so, and I went about an hour between the first and second DCs, so too early to be sure if that's the cause or not.

Aye, multiple crashes. Updated resources, they got updated, still got crashes. Most seem to be scrolling through inventory or in the trade dialog for cells at the rift. Unloading spellcast seems to have stopped it.

Crashed mid-ws on Ig-Alima, then again after fight my game just froze (had to shut it down via task manager) a few minutes later while trading someone, so idk if it's spellcast. Other people saying they are crashing too. Actually, yes I was scrolling through my inventory to find the item I wanted to trade.

Game crashed when attempting to view mog satchel. Removed itemizer and this works for now.

Didn't have a problem during my hour online when the update was live. Running vanilla here. Seen a lot of red dots here and there though throughout Jeuno though.

I don't use itemizer though, so that's not it either. At least it can't be the only thing causing people to crash.

And I was absolutely fine for over 2 1/2 hours, did 5 Ig-Alima fights without issues and then I crashed on the last one.

Itemizer doesn't do anything unless you trigger an action (via casting a spell, or using a /ma or /item command), so it's extremely unlikely to be related to the crash.

In fact, as far as I know, none of our plugins are triggered in any way by scrolling through the inventory list.

Spellcast crashes are caused by out of date resources and trying to equip an item that doesn't have an entry; it looks like Radec had them updated before the server even came back up.

It's looking to me like the instability is on SE's end.

A few friends on TeamSpeak said they were crashing on their Xbox versions too, so it's definitely not a plug-in/windower issue. I'm now certain it's an issue on SE's end.

This is fairly common. it started the moment they sent the new shit to the test server and has randomly been happening since then.

Wait till / if you get the text box glitch where if u max the chat log to see some misses text or a tell, the entire thing will then erase itself blank and all that text is lost.

That's a dual-box issue. Can be fixed by using XI-Util.

Actually the chat log disappearing when expanding the window is nothing new, has happened to me a few times and I don't even dual box.
