Anyone get this game? I've heard the reviews on it are terrible. I've been a pretty avid Sonic fan since day 1, but... from what I've heard of this game... sounds like Sega is pretty much killed itself now. So... I ask because I don't want to go spend the money on it if it suxx0rz.

It sucks, I'm a Sonic fan as well but Sega has gone downhill since they made Sonic 3D (last greatest Sonic game was Sonic & Knuckles with or without Sonic 3 attached...<3).

My friend is gonna buy it sooner or later, and when he does i'll borrow it.

Sonic Adventure 2 was nice, but had it's problems with the camera so bad sometimes. I liked that game :D

All 3D sonic games have the shitty camera, I liked sonic adventure 1 and 2, but the camera and controls really pissed me off, music was decent too lol

if you thought SA1/2 was annoying and hard to control this one won't be much better...and there's the...obvious faults (woo shadow has a gun now) -.-

I got this game, its pretty good. However...

I liked Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 because they had fun levels and lots of attacks. Shadow the Hedgehog can pick up guns and knives and stuff, giving lots of sweet attacks.

I liked SA2 because you can choose to be light or dark (even though everyone turns out light in the end anyway). Shadow the Hedgehog builds more on that, you can be REALLY dark or light, dark or light, or neutral.

This game, even though its rated 10+ is sweet because you can like kill humans and aliens. What pisses me off though is even if you don't kill any humans in a stage they will still shoot at you, even if your trying to go light, so you have to avoid them until you because more light so they stop shooting you -.-.

I hated Sonic Heroes because of poor design (I'd fall off the same fucking rail like 30303 times even though I didn't jump or move or anything) and because the levels are long. These levels can be like... 20 minutes long. I liked SA2 because you could really rush and beat the whole level in like 3 minutes (Or Green Hill zone; 50 seconds I got). That doesn't seem really plausible here :\.

Its a good game, get it.

only fast stages on sonic adventure 2 were sonic/shadows levels which were at most 5-10mins if you sucked or it was your first time (commonly 1-3mins for me).

Knuckles and Rouges levels could run you up to about 30mins if you get unlucky or can't seem to find the last bastard emerald

this game is dissapointing cause it has lost the feel of sonic games that many fans love, sonic adventure 1/2 at least kept some of that element but it still felt like a let down during tails/eggmans missions or rouge/knuckles hunts

I will probably play it through still (not anytime soon) cause I've liked Shadow more then Sonic since they decided to give sonic a gay surfer dude attitude and a lame voice, and shadow looks 100x cooler as well

It once took me almost an hour to finish one of Big's levels on SA1. I hate that cat.

Big's Level's were so easy I beat his story first <.<

And I liked Knuckles/Rouge's levels in SA2, I got All A ranks with Knuckles first (and Rouge last... DAMN YOU MAD SPACE, DAMN YOU TO HELL)

I really enjoyed SA2:B, its one of my all time favourite games <.<;;.

And yeah, they changed a lot of the people's voices for Shadow the Hedgehog. While I liked Knuckles' voice in SA2, this one in Shadow seems better. Tails' is a lot better too. And Sonic is just .

Why can't Sega just take the gameplay from the Sonic/Shadow levels in SA2 and make an entire game out of it, instead of adding scavenger hunts, platform segments, and all that other crap? Everybody loved those parts the best, the other bullshit just brought the game down.

Oh god that rap was horrible, I thought it was kinda nice and quirky the first time, then you're looking for the emerald for 30mins+ and you feel like breaking shit

I'm not gonna lie to you. I've beaten this game three times already and gotten three different endings. There is this little library in story mode that says how many paths you've taken already. This is what mine says:

164: A New Empire's Beginning
220: The Importantance of Truth
275: The Reason I was Born

So there are at least 275 ways to play this game... I'm sure this is one game I'll never 100% complete...

But every time I've beaten the game so far I've gotten a secret weapon... Omochao Gun is super cheap, shoot it at one guy and it bounces to other nearby targets. Also you can upgrade your secret weapons if you beat the game in a similar manner, so far Omochao Gun is level 2... all I can see upgrading does is add more ammo to it (10 -> 20) and a little more strength to it.
