    Samsung Phone not receiving SMS

Anyone have any experience with this? Android phone, Note20, Verizon is my carrier. Phone calls still come in but SMS is dead.

Nah, I'm using the default Messenger service.

Also was just made aware that messages I'm sending are going out, but I'm not getting any coming in, so I have no idea what could be happening.

Switch to Google messages. Enable "chat features" (which is rcs).

Default app should be the Google one for Samsung so you might be using it without realizing.

I had this exact problem, outgoing messages worked but I couldn't see any incoming ones. Though for me what triggered it was briefly going from android to iPhone. It wasn't fixed until they unregistered it from my number and I reregistered.

Again I use ATT but I imagine it works the same way for Verizon, they were able to do it all over the phone.

I spent some time on the phone with tech support and they got it fixed, apparently there's a nationwide alert for this problem going on right now for certain people. May just finally be time to get a new phone.

Wow Zealot, but yeah, my suggestion with the new phone thing; do your homework. That's what I did with mine and prolly will be going strong with it for another few years.
