There's no difference to which nationality defeats a HNM and claims to saying first.
I mean what's the point, it only escalates more of the rivalry between NA & JP.
Clearly in the world of FFXI, NA do not have the upper hand against the JP and from the moment WE learned it, there was usage of 3rd party programs.

So is there really a need to flaunt what you have accomplished by defeating Odin and saying first NA LS? It's not like you guys were the first on Fenrir, you do know who you all are.
The people from the land of the rising sun seems to have cleared it, so it's nothing new comparing in the whole of Fenrir server if you say you are first. You're only inflating your ego among other NA HNM LS(s) which in return is sure to cause bitter rivalries.
