    (Youtube trailer)

Just saw the trailer for this movie. It sounds very interesting and refreshing. The movie is doing well in Spain, but apparently it's having a hard time finding an American distributor.

The movie is about Hypatia and the tension between religion and science during her time as the director of the Library of Alexandria.

The film tells the story of the legendary astronomer Hypatia (Rachel Weisz), trapped in the legendary Library of Alexandria, and her fight to save the old world's wisdom from the religious riots sweeping the streets of Alexandria.
Has anyone from Spain seen this? If so what did you think? I hope it will be released in the U.S. otherwise I guess I'll be renting or torrenting it eventually.

Your geekdom has failed me BG.
Seriously, no ancient history buffs? No obligatory Dawkins atheists to root for a rare science vs. religion movie?
