USB stick just divided by zero.

Installed Chromium/OS/Hexxen onto this stick just for a temporary USB install to a netbook and now I need to delete it but I've ran into a dilemma.

It doesen't detect the stick in My Computer like it normally would.

Secondly this is what shows up for the stick in Storage/Comp Management. (See pics below)

If I try to change any drive letters, format, or try any option available in any of the partitions. It pretty much says no, error, check system event log, etc.

Any ideas? Never had this issue happen this badly before.

Cannot reformat it it. Also I'm unable to open my system event log for some reason (windows 7)...

if you happen to have a windows installation cd try loading that up with the USB one in, before installing it lets you delete stuff on your drives, I had a similar problem happen once and got all the partitions deleted that way

Excellent program, it was able to clean up the majority of the partitions. I tried setting the MBR to run as USB-HDD. Along with formatting the stick.

But when I try to format to any filesystem type this happens.

and it stays as RAW regardless even if it says its "successful" or not.

edit: Just rebooted my PC and it magically lets me format to any filesystem now after using BOOTICE.

My mind is full of fuck.

It doesn't work? Like the MMC won't load or what? Log files aren't always helpful but they aren't a bad resource either. They haven't changed the names in a long time so if you can't be bothered to hunt around for it (like me) just type 'eventvwr' into the 'Search Programs and Files' on the Start Menu.
