    ToA Information

    This site I found has some information on all the stuff coming in the next expansion that we NA's didn't get but apparently the JP did. I Babelfished a rough translation and it seems to have detailed information on the new jobs and abilities they have. Can anyone who knows Japanese and has alot of free time, write up a translation of this page?

    Skimmed through it...

    Corsair Job Abilities:

    Phantom Roll - Gives a party member's job's traits(crit bonus from thf, mab from blm)
    Gamble - Blackjack-like ability where you can be penalized for busting.
    Quick Draw - One of 8 cards that does various things like debuffing.

    Puppetmaster:

    Talks about being a unique job because of the customization of the automoton.

    Blue Mage:

    Talks about learning new spells with blue mage points, blah blah..

    Aside from the different names of abilities, I don't see any new info I haven't seen somewhere else. It's rather long, is there any specific part you're curious about?

    It's the only job in the game that has an ability that equates to an automated crit. Only reason NIN and MNK have a higher critrate is because they use the latent weapons. THF would have higher if they used all of their crit rate gear, (Dagger + AF2 body) and spammed SA as much as they could.

    MNK is going to give Max HP+ and NIN is going to give Subtle Blow.

    Actually... stealth aint bad. I've noticed a very significant difference when using it, helps pulling in dangerous areas... so its only 99% usless
    Subtle blow would rock as a party effect
