That's would actually be an interesting psychological study.

Can the bear recognize that it's a human in a seal costume, or does it really think that it's a living seal and it's hunting instincts are activated.

From the video it would seem that it views the girl as a real seal, and it's trying to hunt it.

I remember when Bob Sapp played Line at UW. He was quite the star athlete but didn't make it to the NFL. Then his agent suggested he do K-1 in Japan and ever since then he's become as sucessful as ever. Good video too.
